Hagoita Workshop and Dance Lesson at Moravian Academy

In November 17th, 2022, Japanese Classical Dance Performer, Hana Takehiro is holding a Hagoita workshop and dance lesson at Moravian Academy🎨 Japanese traditional racket called Hagoita has been a Japanese traditional racket since the 16th century. This racket has a meaning of wish for children's success for the future. Hana will teach students a dance style called Hane no Kamuro which has been performed by young dance performers for a long time in Japan. This was the song to practice at the beginning of early child lessons, and this song teaches young children to learn how to take a step, shake head, and move bodies with a small item. This time, we are utilizing the Japanese racket to practice one of the most traditional, aesthetic, and classical Japanese dance with students at Moravian Academy.
