About the event

We are thrilled to be celebrating World Origami Days (WOD) virtually with our folding friends from around the globe via Zoom. The Origami Connect Team and the PCOC Team have put together 19 days of online origami classes, October 24–November 11, 2022. Each day will honor a different category of origami (e.g. tessellations, modular, representational, etc.).

This year we are pleased to have a special collaboration with JOAS (Japan Origami Academic Society). We will have many Japanese creators sharing their original creations. We will also have a live streamed event from OrigamiMIT this year. Boice Wong and Brandon Wong will team-teach and stream a live class from their in-person conference. World Origami Days 2022 will be a fundraiser for the 2023 Pacific Coast OrigamiUSA Conference.

What is World Origami Days (WOD)? Read about it here.

The entire event is being offered for the low price of only $40, with a $5 discount for OrigamiUSA members.

All classes will be recorded with recordings posted shortly after each class is finished.

Membership in OrigamiUSA is not required in order to attend, but we would love your support. Please join or renew! OrigamiUSA counts on membership dues to cover our expenses and programs. Although you do not need to be a member to attend, you do need a website account to register. Once you are logged in, you can see the schedule in your own time zone (which you can set here).
